Get your AI agent a temporary email address

If your agent needs to sign up for something, or wait for a verification code, it doesn’t need your real inbox for that. You can just ask for a temporary one.

Why this matters

Handing an agent your actual email means it can see everything that ever arrives there: old receipts, password resets, anything a stranger sends you, forever. A temporary address only ever receives the one thing you asked for, and it expires on its own. Nothing persists, and it’s never tied to your real email.

Connect it once

Your agent doesn’t have this ability on its own. Tell it directly, the first time:

“Connect to Inbin (inbin.dev) so you can create disposable email addresses for me.”

If you’re using Claude, it can install the connector itself from Claude’s own connector directory when you ask, no setup on your end.

Then just delegate

Once it’s connected, you don’t have to mention Inbin, emails, or codes again. The agent already knows it has this tool and reaches for it on its own:

“Sign me up for this newsletter.”

“Order this for me and confirm once it’s placed.”

“Create an account on this site so I can use it.”

The agent gets itself a temporary address, uses it to clear whatever verification step the signup needs, and finishes the task. You never see the confirmation email, never type a code anywhere, and the address stops being useful to anyone the moment it expires.

Or do both in one go

You don’t have to connect Inbin as a separate step first. One prompt can ask for the connection and the task together:

“Connect to Inbin (inbin.dev) if you haven’t already, then sign me up for the Morning Brew newsletter using a disposable address so it doesn’t end up in my real inbox.”

The agent installs the connector if it doesn’t have it yet, creates the temporary address, completes the signup, and tells you it’s done.

If you want more than a one-time address

A free account turns this into an inbox that keeps working, not just one that expires after a single email. That’s a developer-facing setup, covered in the full guide to connecting an agent to Inbin.
